Black Friday 2015 Ads App: App Review

BreakingModern — In many ways, the day after Thanksgiving has become a bigger event then the holiday itself. Finding the best Black Friday deals for items on your shopping list is practically a blood sport and shoppers need every advantage they can muster to ensure success. That’s why you need to take a look at the Black Friday 2015 Ads App.

Advantage

The app is provided by Sazze, Inc., and is free to download for Android on Google Play on devices running Android 4.1 and up. The Black Friday 2015 Ads App asks you to log in using either your email or Facebook account, but it is not required if you just want to scan Black Friday ads. However, if want to save an item you find in those ads to a wish list that you can refer to later, you will have to log in.

The app includes leaked and official Black Friday advertisements from all of the major retailers, so you should be able to find the best deals for just about everything on your shopping list. And because the app is designed for smartphones, the links to those deals are in the form of retailer logos, eliminating the need for careful pecking on text links you generally find on websites.

You can scan deals by looking at retailer advertisements or you can search the ads by looking for specific products. For example, if you’re looking for a new cellphone, you tap the cellphone category icon and a list of retailers will appear with direct links to their Black Friday cellphone deals. A very convenient feature.

Caveats

The Black Friday 2015 Ads App is great for finding the best Black Friday deals available, but there are a couple of caveats to keep in mind.

As you might imagine, an app that is all about advertising will contain some advertising of its own. The non-Black Friday ads tend to be dispersed in and among the Black Friday ads. Users are likely to, at least occasionally, click on an ad that has nothing to do with Black Friday.

Also, the app’s navigation system is a bit clunky and could use some fine tuning. On more than one page, I found myself having to use the Android back button because there was no app specific navigation on the page at all. It’s nothing serious, but it’s a bit sloppy.

Black Friday Success

If you’re an accomplished shopper who views Black Friday as a challenge for your shopping skills, then you need to arm yourself with the best tools. As a competitive shopper, I am sure you have reviewed all of the leaked Black Friday ads and have formulated a plan of action, but even the best plans fall apart once you reach the mall. With your smartphone and the Black Friday 2015 Ads App you’ll be prepared to improvise and overcome any unexpected Black Friday situation.
