BreakingModern — The prowess of the HTC One M8 for taking photos in low light is off the charts. The ultrapixel technology created by HTC continues to produce great photos in near darkness. Check out this beautiful Eyewitness Photo from Robert Carlos using his HTC One M8 smartphone at sunset.
This shot is just gorgeous. Other than the mix of cool and warm colors in the sky, I enjoy the leading lines in the photo. Notice that the cloud patterns have the shape of an inverted triangle. Now see how the palm trees line up with one side of the “inverted cloud triangle.” It’s pleasing to the eye and draws your eye from the upper-left down to lower-right naturally. It’s not forced.
You can look at an even-smaller detail, too. See the power lines in the background? They’re following the same leading lines as the palm trees. Everything in this shot works great with the rule of thirds. We all know that’s a plus in photography. Nice pic, Robert!
