BreakingModern — The panorama is an impressive way to capture a truly beautiful location. Smartphone photography makes that a cinch these days, and we’re all pretty lucky it’s so easy. Patrick Van Dyke shows off his skill, and the beauty his location, with this impressive pano. It’s our smartphone photo of the day.
This image was captured with the panoramic mode on the HTC One M8 — no fancy lenses required. Van Dyke said he edited the photo a bit in the stock gallery of the M8, and then used Snapseed to provide a more “dramatic look.” The clear, granular detail visible in the hills and creeping fog were enhanced by the app. It certainly works for us.
