AKwong: The Week’s Funniest YouTube Videos

BreakingModern — Looking for just the right thing to procrastinate with? Questioning the meaning of life? Well, you’ve come to the right place.

Here are my picks for the five funniest YouTube videos this week. Now I know that all of you have your favorite videos and opinions, but five video slots isn’t enough space to include that cute cat video and that awesome new game animation. I assure you, even if your video isn’t up there, I watched it and it was great. So I hope you’re not doing anything too important right now, because you’re about to lose about an hour of your day …

Jontron: Anti drug games

Here’s a great video from the Video Games section of YouTube. It features Jontron. Ever wondered how the video game scene handled anti-drug campaigns? Yeah, me, neither. But that didn’t stop this guy. Jontron brings you some of the strangest and funniest anti-drug video games, and believe me he doesn’t disappoint. Armed with his trusty cyber-bird Jaques, Jontron is prepared to bring comedy, whether it’s in game or in real life.

Roosterteeth: The Sex Survey Experiment - Social disorder

Warning: for immature audiences only! Welcome to Social Disorder, the Roosterteeth mini-series where two friends, Chris and Aaron, try to test the limits of the social norms by putting unknowing bystanders into weird and awkward situations. This week’s experiment is Sex Survey where, you guessed it, our two hosts have to get people to take their survey about sex. But here’s the catch: Chris and Aaron have written the other’s questions and have no idea what’s written on their own survey. Be prepared to cringe.

Fine Bros: YouTubers React to The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon

This week on The FineBros‘ YouTubers react, some of our favorite Internet celebrities react to the video mentioned above (no I’m not going to take the time to type that title out). Honestly I’ve never even heard of this video until now (well, like a day ago), and I must have watched it at least 10 times since then. There’s something about seeing people react to a video you’ve already seen that makes the entire experience funnier. I can still remember when I showed my friend his first jump scare video. Ahh … good times … good times.

Rosanna Pansino: Ghostbusters Slime Cupcakes – Nerdy Nummies

What goes best with baking? Nerd memorabilia, duh! Rosanna Pansino’s Nerdy Nummies is a show that dedicates itself to teach anybody how to combine these two subjects in artful and delicious cookies, cakes and other sweets. This week, being the 30th anniversary of the Ghostbusters franchise, Rosanna is joined by Vsauce3’s Jake to cook up some Ghostbuster-style cupcakes. Mmmm … now I need to get some cookies …

Improv Everywhere: The Mp3 Experiment Eleven

Home of the weird, hilarious and bold, Improv Everywhere’s motto is to do strange things anytime and anywhere. This week they do not disappoint as they run their 11th annual Mp3 experiment in the unsuspecting suburbs of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Participants all start their special Mp3 track at the same time and follow the ridiculous instructions on the track, much to the delight of innocent bystanders. Remember, these people have never listened to the tracks before, so expect confusion from both onlookers and participants!

And … that’s it! Also, if I missed one of your favorite videos of the week, leave a comment down below. I’ll be sure to check it out! Have fun, don’t get trapped on the Internet for too long and I’ll see you guys next week!
