Three Tips to Improve Your Enjoyment of Temple Run 2

BreakingModern – Are you tired of getting tripped up during Temple Run 2? If so, you’ve come to the right place. I can help you improve your gameplay and (possibly) reach the end of the game. All you have to do is follow my three tips below.

Temple Run 2

Don’t Be Greedy About Coins

We’ve all come across this problem sometime in our Temple Run 2 playing careers (myself included). You see a row of coins and you just have to get every single one. While this can pay off early on in the game, it becomes far more dangerous as you go on, especially as the terrain changes. The problem is, usually there’s a hazard at the end of the coin chain that trips you up. For example, one time I was in a mine and I had to lean left to grab a row of coins. When the chain of coins ended I fell off track. Lesson learned: don’t be so greedy.

Jumping Is Your Friend

Don’t take this advice too literally. There are many times where jumping too often will land you right into a hazard, but there are cases where jumping does help you a lot. You just have to proceed with caution.

Jumping is also fairly convenient coming up on a hill with an obstacle in the way. If you jump at the peak of the hill, for example, you can conveniently fly over the obstacle in front of you. This is very useful since the obstacle is more often than not followed by a turn, and jumping can spare you from a faceplant on the wall ahead.

Don’t Use the Shield Power-up as an Invincibility Boost. Use It as an Insurance Card

Using your shield you can easily run over any obstacle in your path. But keep in mind the shield only lasts one obstacle — as soon as it hits an obstacle, it disappears. In Temple Run 2, the shield conveniently covers up any accidental mistakes you make. It won’t keep you from falling off the edge, but it’s a great bit of insurance for everything else.

And there you have it — three quick tips and tricks to improve your gameplay during Temple Run 2. Of course this isn’t a comprehensive list – just a few bits of wisdom. If you have your own tips, please share them with us in the comments below. Temple Run 2 is free to download for Android on Google Play and Apple iOS. and the download links are below.
