AKwong: YouTube Video Roundup

BreakingModern — Hello everyone, and welcome to 2015! Ahh … everything seems so new and fresh! Resolutions holding fast for now? Good, well it’s time for a new year’s weekly roundup of funny and cool YouTube videos. It’s still early in the new year but I managed to find some of the finest videos just for you!

Is Cereal Soup?

Michael from Vsauce starts the new year off with a video on words and classifications. The central underlying question is how to classify cereal within the English language. Is it technically a soup, or is it like a salad with milk as the dressing? I can already feel myself growing smarter!

GROOVY! (Gary’s Mod Prop Hunt)

Seananners, our lovable and giggly video game commentator, is back and ready to rock in the new year. Watch him and some friends no longer stay friends as they hide from each other as cups, chairs and whatever else they can get their virtual hands on.

11 year old Girl challenges Gaston to arm wrestle and wins!

All over YouTube, videos of the character Gaston at Walt Disney World have been popping up and hitting the front page. And why shouldn’t they? This man knows what he’s doing and how to stay in character. If you haven’t seen the feats of this man, search for it on YouTube! This video is just the tip of the manly iceberg.

Hits of 2014 - played with household items

Now I know this isn’t technically from the new year, but I thought it was too awesome to pass up. Andrew Huang has made a name for himself on the internet playing songs on household instruments, and I believe this video is one of his best yet. It’s a great way to look back on 2014 while having a good laugh.

Mario Kart 64 (Teens React: Retro Gaming)

The React Channel is also kicking off the new year with an old video game classic, Mario Kart 64. I don’t know about you guys, but I wasn’t old enough to experience the Nintendo 64 in all its glory. Those of you who do, feel free to laugh as the teens state their opinions on the graphics and mechanics of the game. Kids these days!

And that’s all folks! Hope you enjoyed this week’s video roundup and I’ll see you next time!
