From marketing to engagement photos, from your friend’s new blog asking you for likes to high school friends’ babies — social media is a complex window into the world. It’s been 10 super-charged years, starting with the founding of Facebook in 2004. And last year Ellen’s selfie Oscar photo broke retweeting records. See the evolution below.
