BreakingModern – One of the best parts of Thanksgiving weekend is Black Friday. What’s even better is having the luxury to shop from your computer instead of waiting in endless lines in the cold, especially when it’s just for a few stores with deep discounts to open. Check out a few retailers that expect to have the biggest online deals on Black Friday, November 28, 2014.
Walmart
Walmart has already gotten a head start on releasing its deals for Black Friday. In addition to launching another holiday shopping season full of hefty discounts, Walmart has also upped the ante by announcing recently it will be price matching items from other online entities such as Amazon. Although this mostly works in the store, you can use the price-match option online if you happen to come across a cheaper price in another store or in other store ads.
Amazon
This online giant drives massive sales during the holiday season and it already got a head start on lowering prices on some of its items at the beginning of this month. In preparation for Black Friday, Amazon is said to have 15,000 “lightning deals,” essentially products at a drastically low price. Amazon Prime members will have access to the Black Friday sale 30 minutes ahead of everyone else. In addition to the lightning deals, Amazon will have two deals of the day that began Nov. 1 and runs through December 22.
Best Buy
Like Amazon, Best Buy is featuring “Deals of the Day” leading up to Black Friday. You can expect great deals on 50” Panasonic HDTVs (starting at $200), Beats by Dr. Dre headphones (starting at $80) and other super low prices for electronics. Best Buy is also throwing in free shipping once you spend at least $35.
Target
This holiday season Target is offering free shipping on all orders placed online through December 20th. If you’re too anxious to wait for holiday gifts to arrive in the mail, you can also order items online and pick up in store. Some items, such as Apple’s iPad mini, will be on sale for $300.
Macy’s
As Macy’s celebrates the 88th Thanksgiving parade, it will also have one of the biggest sales on pretty much everything it carries: 20-50 percent off handbags, shoes, kitchenware items and clothes for the family. You can also place orders online and pick up in store if you don’t want to wait a few extra days. The Macy’s Black Friday sale will end on Saturday, Nov. 30.
JCPenney
JCPenney’s Black Friday deals, both in-store and online, are a bit shorter – just three days (Nov. 27-29). During this holiday season, JCPenney will reduce prices on everything you can possibly think of, plus free shipping once you spend at least $49.

So glad to see more online options instead of dealing with the idiocy of people in lines.
